What That Marketing Buddy is
That Marketing Buddy is an independent review site run by a former marketing agency co-owner in Helsinki. It reviews and ranks marketing software by MCP support, API access and agent-readiness, with pricing checked against each vendor, and covers more than a hundred tools across categories such as email marketing, SEO and sales funnels. Its 2026 study of 122 marketing tools found that 92% have an API but only 28% ship an official MCP server. It has its own read-only API and MCP server. Some links are affiliate links, which the site discloses, and it also offers sponsored reviews and featured placement.
MartechDB lists only the official MCP servers that martech vendors publish themselves: 1,552 vendors and 1,662 servers as of today. The data is free on the web, in a JSON API and through our own MCP server, and vendors can't pay to be listed.
